12 years a slave!

IT:  Questa settimana mi sono vista un film davvero commovente ed impegnativo: 12 anni schiavo.

Questo film è stato vincitore di diversi premi Oscar:

• Miglior film
• Miglior attrice non protagonista a Lupita Nyong'o
• Miglior sceneggiatura non originale a John Ridley

Ero molto indecisa se andarlo a vedere o meno, non perchè dubitassi del film, ma perchè avevo paura fosse troppo forte e violento.
Devo invece ammettere che sì, ovviamente tocca il cuore e soprattutto la mente, ma a parte poche scene, la violenza è molto contenuta e non evidenziata.
Il film è tratto da una storia vera. Parla di un musicista di colore, LIBERO, che viene preso e venduto come schiavo, e dovrà lottare per la sopravvivenza e per recuperare la sua libertà.

Io mi sento di consigliarvelo, per due motivi:
1) perchè è girato davvero molto bene, gli attori sono molto bravi, i dialoghi ed i silenzi sono davvero emozionanti.
2) perchè è importante sapere, conoscere e riflettere sulla disumanità che gli umani possono mettere in atto.

Un film davvero toccante, che tocca argomenti più vicini e attuali di quel che si possa credere.

EN: This week I saw a movie really moving and challenging: 12 years a slave.
 This film was the winner of several Academy Awards:

•      Best Picture
•      Best Supporting Actress Lupita Nyong'o
•      Best Adapted Screenplay John Ridley

I was very undecided whether to go see it or not, not because I doubted the film, but because I was afraid it was too strong and violent.  
Instead I have to admit that yes, of course, touches the heart and especially the mind, but apart from a few scenes, the violence is very limited and not highlighted.  
The film is based on a true story. It's about a musician, FREE, which is taken and sold as a slave, and must fight for survival and to recover his freedom.

I would recommend it for two reasons:  
1) because it is shot very well indeed, the actors are very good, the dialogues and silences are really exciting. 2)because it is important to know, understand and reflect upon the inhumanity that humans can implement.
